Thanks Elly!

Wow, that was pretty bloody cool! What a great gig to kick off the rebirth tour and unveil the new Scott Free. Absolutely killer night, thank you to The Elephant and Castle, and to everybody that came out to make it such a sweet night!

 The Elephant and Castle

The Elly!

Looking forward to our next gig, which will be Jack's debut as our new vocalist..

Introducing..... Jack Page

As you know, last week we had to say goodbye to our vocalist Kyle, and our keyboard player, Seb. We wish them all the best with their future musical ventures, and thank them for all the good times we shared together.

We held auditions last week for a new vocalist, and we have found the man for the job. Jack Page will be our new vocalist from now! He's a great guy, with an absolutely fantastic voice, and awesome performance skills. We are seriously excited to get going with him, we think this could be seriously awesome!

You can catch his first gig on Friday 20th June at The Elephant and Castle, Lewes.
Thank you to everyone supporting us! Get ready for the new Scott Free.

From the Ashes

An interesting weekend! Many thanks to Niall Kersey for being our vocalist this weekend at The Volly and the From the Ashes benefit. With not much rehearsal he managed to step up and give a great performance! The benefit was a terrific experience, and we can now say we have shared the bill with The Strypes, Arthur Brown, Chris Difford, and Instill to name but a few. Here's Hugo's selfie with The God of Hell Fire, Arthur Brown!

Sorry we have been a bit quiet recently, its been a hectic fortnight!!

Unfortunately, due to personal differences within the band, our vocalist Kyle and our keyboard player Seb have decided to leave us. This is a huge setback for us, and we thought we might have to pull out of the gigs this weekend. Amazingly, we have managed to find a stand-in vocalist for the two gigs this weekend! Niall Kersey, vocalist from The Stone Angels, is doing us a huge favour and stepping in last minute for our two gigs, The Volunteer tomorrow, and the Phoeonix Benefit on Saturday.

We have only managed to rehearse twice with him since he agreed to do it on Saturday, but we have still managed to get a good length set together, and it will be a good night tomorrow!

In terms of a new permanent vocalist, we have spent the day doing auditions, and we will have an announcement on that over the weekend! All we are saying is that we are super excited about it, and watch this space!
Thanks Lewes!

What a sweet night it was last night. Absolutely fantastic audience and thank you for helping the place come alive! We all had an absolute blast playing for youHugo got to play his first solo on the new drum kit, and Jamie rocked it with his new base set up. We will return to the lamb again soon, its just awesome every time we play there.

Thanks again to everybody that came and made it so special.. and especially to those generous enough to give whatever you could to the phoenix fire donations.

Loved it

Lamb benefit gig

Try and get along to The Lamb on Saturday night - we'll be raising some money for the artists and musicians affected by the Phoenix fire. The Lamblord's done a great job on the poster!

Donation from the Mayor of Peacehaven

We've been bowled over by the kindness shown to us after losing most of our gear in the Phoenix fire, and left speechless by a donation from the Mayor of Peacehaven, Rachel Coles. We played at the Peacehaven Music Festival last year and helped out with some of the organisation, so when Rachel read of our plight in The Evening Argus she generously arranged for a donation which will go a long way to helping us back on the road. We all went along on Sunday for the cheque presentation - fortunately they also gave us a normal sized cheque to pay into the bank!

The Alma Arms Gig

Massive thanks to everyone who helped us go ahead with this gig just a week after the fire. Generous people loaned us instruments and other gear and Dave Backley (of the band Far Cry and Uckfield FM presenter) not only loaned us the PA, speakers, and miles of cabling, but he stayed on and acted as our sound man! He even persuaded the punters to have a whip round for us! Thanks so much, Dave - we literally couldn't have done it without you....

Donations Gratefully Received!

Hello all,

After a few suggestions to do something like this, we've set up a donations page on our BigCartel page. Small amounts or anything really to help us get back on our feet as a band, after losing the vast majority of our equipment in the fire last night in Lewes. Anything any of you can do is really appreciated, sharing this link, donating or buying anything from the store would help us! Thank you all for the support so far! To Help, click here

Disaster that could have been a Catastrophe

So we had a pretty close shave last night. We were legging it out the back of here as the place went up and the ceiling was starting to come down. Easily the most terrifying experience of our lives by far. We did lose pretty much all of our gear, but we are just so thankful this happened when it did and not 2 hours later with 150+ people drinking and dancing in there.. doesn't bare thinking about. Thank you so much to all the people we have seen for the amazing support and kind words. If you feel like you want to make any sort of donation to us to help us get kitted up again, then you can contact any of us to sort it out and we would be hugely thankful. We will definitely be taking note of the fire exits at our gigs from now on!

Thanks again for everything,
